HAS THE EARTH BEEN VISITED BY E.T.?

Although the Earth may also have been visited in the ancient past, the overwhelming archaeological presence of thousands of years of human cultures and civilizations, make the identification of any potential E.T. artefacts or influences difficult to establish, particularly as still much of human prehistory remains unknown. And of those legends that do describe visitors from the skies, they are often mixed with cultural and religious overtones that can be a challenge to decipher with confidence.

As such, any historical or present-day visitations by extraterrestrials, are likely to be more accurately identified and recognized by studies into UFOs, with the possibility that they may be confirmed as evidence of visiting craft and beings. However, science's omission in avoiding serious research into this obvious and ongoing phenomena, may have caused humanity to become profoundly ignorant of the true extent of extraterrestrial activity and influence upon the Earth.

So who is trying to unravel this potential goldmine of knowledge of extraterrestrial activity in our solar system? NASA? No. Any other space agency? No. Well, the Chinese might, but they probably wouldn't tell us what they find anyway... and well, neither would NASA, I expect. So, as ever, the task falls to a handful of renegades to undertake possibly the most important work that will ever affect humanity - while the faint-hearted, who wish it would all just go away, hang on for dear life, to their rapidly disintegrating paradigm.

PLANETARY SETI / XENOARCHAEOLOGY
The science studies and articles collected here, explore what's referred to as Planetary SETI or Xenoarchaeology, which is the archaeological study of past extraterrestrial or alien cultures on other planets or moons. The focus of these studies explore the hypothesis that evidence for extraterrestrial visitation to our solar system may be found on some of our own planets and their satellites, particularly Mars and the Moon.

These two bodies have both been extensively photographed from orbit, and also from the surface, although Mars much more extensively so, with our Moon of course having also been visited by human landings. This has enabled the possibility to identify large artificial structures from orbiting science cameras, and smaller scale artefacts from cameras onboard the surface rovers.

As it is presently accepted that humans from the Earth have never ventured to the other planets in our solar system, the existence of any artefacts and structures found on those other bodies, would logically either have to have originated from a civilization that had evolved on that world, or, to have arrived there from another solar system.
