​​OBSERVATIONS
This region in Cydonia has many unusual shapes with high albedo, giving rise to a dramatically strange landscape. Some features appear possibly grouped together suggesting intelligent design, while others sit in splendid isolation. However, is it rational to suggest that with such a vast array of odd and striking features at Cydonia, that just a handful of these are artificial constructs? Surely they would either ALL be natural, or ALL be artificial? Or then again, did ancient Martians prefer to blend their buildings in amongst nature? The 'Five' is one such feature. The geometry displayed is quite remarkable, but is it just a random fluke of nature, or something more profound?

​POTENTIAL FOR AN ARTIFICIAL STRUCTURE

Has several geometric indicators including a right angle, a semi-circle and a full circle. A constant width of approximately 50 metres runs along the whole structure. The existence of other possible artificial structures several kilometres away such as "The Face", "The D&M Pyramid" and "The Fort", could be corroborative.

COMMON EXPLANATION

Geological knob or butte formed by the erosion of softer rock to expose the harder rock beneath.
